A Father's Concern for His Daughter's Emotional Health
As a father, it breaks my heart to see my daughter, who is 16, struggling with her mental health. She has been battling clinical depression, and it’s affecting her schoolwork, friendships, and overall happiness. I feel so helpless and often wonder how to support her better. I pray every day that God will wrap her in His love and provide her with the strength to overcome this darkness. I ask for prayers for her emotional healing and for wisdom for me as her father to guide her through this tough time.

Dear Mark, thank you for your heartfelt request regarding your daughter. It’s clear how much you love her, and your desire to support her is commendable. The Bible reminds us in 3 John 1:2 that God desires for us to prosper in all things and be in health, just as our soul prospers. Your prayers for her emotional healing are powerful; remember that prayer is a vital part of this journey. As you walk alongside her, encourage her to lean on God, who is our refuge and strength (Psalms 46:1). In moments of despair, reaffirm to her that God has a plan for her life and that even these challenges can lead to growth (Romans 8:28).
