A Father's Hope to Reach His Son in Darkness
Hi, I'm David. I'm reaching out because I feel a deep burden for my teenage son, Josh. He has gotten wrapped up in social media and the wrong crowd and seems to be drifting away from the values we've taught him. I see him struggling with his faith and unsure about his future. I believe that social media can be a tool for good, but I worry that he isn’t seeing the positive side of it. I want to be able to share the gospel with him in a way that connects. I remember the verse in Ezekiel 18:23, where God expresses His desire for all to turn and live. I long for Josh to recognize the love of Christ. Please pray that I can find creative and loving ways to engage him in conversations about faith and hope. Thank you so much for your support.

As you seek to guide Josh back to the faith, remember that God is always pursuing him. The Lord desires that none should perish, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9. You are right to use social media as a potential bridge to reach him. Share stories of faith, hope, and love in innovative ways that would resonate with him. Ephesians 2:9 reminds us that salvation is a free gift, not of works, and this gift of grace is available to everyone, including your son. Pray for the Holy Spirit to soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. Let’s pray that God grants you wisdom and patience as you interact with Josh, and that your conversations lead him back to the hope found in Christ. Amen.
