A Father's Prayer for His Little Fighter
My name is Sam, and I’m asking for prayer for my two-year-old son, Lucas. He has been having seizures that seem to come from nowhere. As a parent, the fear is paralyzing; you never think this will happen to your child. I find myself racked with anxiety, worrying about what each day will bring. The doctors are still searching for answers, but I have been told that it may take time to get a diagnosis. Watching Lucas struggle is devastating. Some nights, I just sit with him and pray, hoping for relief. I humbly ask for your prayers for Lucas’s health and for my strength as I navigate this journey. I want to be strong for him, but I need support.

Dear Sam, thank you for sharing your heart with us. I can only imagine the pain and uncertainty you are experiencing as a father. It’s completely normal to feel afraid and anxious about your son Lucas’s health. Please know that God walks with you in this. As it is written in Psalms 34:18, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' He sees your tears and hears your desperate prayers. Let’s cling to the hope found in James 5:15, which tells us, 'And the prayer of faith shall save the sick.' I encourage you to continue praying over Lucas and to trust God for his healing. Surround yourself with a community that can support you through this journey. Remember, you don’t have to shoulder this burden alone. I will pray for strength for you and healing for Lucas. God’s blessings upon you both.
