A Grandmother's Plea for Her Family's Healing
As a grandmother, my heart aches seeing my family struggle with long COVID. My daughter and her husband have been affected, leaving them exhausted and overwhelmed. I worry about the long-term effects on their health and the impact on my grandchildren. I feel helpless as I can’t take away their pain. I’m reaching out for prayer for healing for my family, that they may be restored to health and be able to enjoy life again.

Dear Margaret, I appreciate your concern for your family, and it’s clear that your heart is full of love and compassion for them. Seeing those we love suffer can be incredibly challenging, but know that prayer is a powerful tool we have in these situations. In James 5:15, we are reminded that 'the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.' Your prayers can carry immense weight for your daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Continue to support them and encourage moments of joy amidst their struggles. Remember, God is in the business of restoration, as stated in Psalm 147:3, 'He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.' Trust that He hears your prayers. Let’s pray: Lord, I lift Margaret's family to You. Bring healing and restoration to their bodies and spirits, and let them feel Your love surrounding them. Amen.
