A Grandmother’s Plea for Her Grandson’s Return to Faith
As a grandmother, my heart aches for my grandson, Alex. He has drifted away from our family values and the faith I tried to impart to him. I remember the days when we would read Bible stories together and pray before meals, but now he shows little interest in God. I often worry about the choices he is making and the friends he associates with. I feel powerless, and the love I have for him compels me to cry out for his return to faith. Please pray with me that he finds his way back to God and remembers the love of our family.

Dear Martha, thank you for sharing the love you hold for Alex. It’s a beautiful testament to the enduring bond between a grandparent and grandchild. Your concern is valid, and it's tough to see someone we care for drift away. In Psalm 127:3, we are reminded that 'children are a heritage of the Lord,' and your prayers for Alex are powerful. God is faithful, and He hears your cries. In your prayers, I encourage you to recount the fond memories you shared with him and pray that these memories will be a beacon back to the faith you both cherished. Philippians 4:6 tells us to 'be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.' I will join you in seeking God's intervention in Alex's life. Trust that God’s love is pursuing him even now. Let’s pray for his heart to be awakened and for your family to be restored.
