A Grandmother's Prayer for Her Grandchildren's Faith
Hello, I’m Ruth, a grandmother who loves her grandchildren dearly. I watch them grow up in a world filled with distractions and a sense of uncertainty about faith. They spend so much time on their phones and social media, and I worry they may not know the love of Christ as I do. I want to find a way to connect with them through their interests, especially online, to share the gospel and God’s love. I firmly believe that God is patient and desires everyone to come to Him, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9. I pray that He gives me the wisdom to communicate with them effectively, using the platforms they engage with. Please pray that my efforts will yield fruit in their lives, and they may come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Thank you for praying for us.

Dear Ruth, your heart for your grandchildren is beautiful and speaks volumes of your love for them. It’s wonderful that you are looking for ways to engage them within their interests, especially in the digital space. As you mentioned from 2 Peter 3:9, God desires for all to come to repentance, and your role in their lives is crucial. Utilize this passion to create meaningful conversations that can lead them to understand the depth of God’s love. Remember that even small seeds of faith can lead to significant growth. Ephesians 2:8 reiterates that salvation is a gift from God, and He can use your efforts to reach their hearts. Let your relationship with them be a testament of Christ’s love and grace. Pray continually for guidance and let them see your faith lived out practically. May God give you the creativity and insight to share the gospel in ways that resonate with them. Let’s pray for you and your grandchildren, that they come to know the truth of Christ. Amen.
