A Husband's Struggle with Unseen Pain
My name is Michael, and I’m a 34-year-old husband living with an autoimmune disease that causes chronic pain and fatigue. It has changed my life, and unfortunately, it has affected my marriage too. My wife, who is incredibly supportive, struggles to understand what I go through. Friends and family sometimes make me feel like I’m exaggerating my symptoms. I wish I could show them what I feel inside, but since I look fine on the outside, it often leads to frustration and isolation. I’m reaching out for prayer that I can find peace in my situation and that others will develop compassion and understanding towards invisible illnesses. Please pray for my marriage and that I can be a good partner even amidst my struggles.

You are not walking this path alone; God walks with you, and He is your strength. It’s crucial to communicate openly with your wife about your feelings and struggles; together, you can find support in prayer and understanding.
