A Mother's Deepest Fear for Her Child's Health
My name is Lisa, and I’m reaching out in desperation for my little boy, Daniel. Just five years old, he has started having seizures that come without warning. We’ve been to countless doctors, undergone tests, and yet there are no answers. I feel so helpless watching him go through this. Some days, he’s cheerful and playful, and others, he seems so lost and vulnerable. Each seizure feels like a piece of my heart is being torn away. I am terrified of what this means for his future and for our family. I ask for prayer that God would grant us strength, healing, and clarity in this situation. More than anything, I need peace for my heart as I face this unknown. Please pray for Daniel’s health and for my family to find hope in this dark time.

Dear Lisa, my heart goes out to you during this incredibly difficult time. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed and fearful when facing such uncertainties with your precious son, Daniel. I want to remind you that God is very much aware of your struggles. In Isaiah 41:10, we are encouraged, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.' Your cries are heard, and God promises to uphold you in moments of despair. I know it’s hard to see the light when the clouds are dark, but remember that God is the ultimate healer. James 5:14 tells us to call for the elders of the church to pray over those who are sick, and I encourage you to reach out to your church community for support. Keep praying for divine healing and clarity, as God's word in 3 John 1:2 assures us: 'Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.' Let’s join in prayer now for Daniel, that God will provide healing and comfort for your family. Bless you, dear sister.
