A Mother's Despair Over Her Daughter's Rebellion
I am a single mother, and my heart is heavy with despair over my daughter. She used to be so involved in church, but now she has turned her back on her faith and is involved in relationships that worry me deeply. She's in her early twenties and believes she knows better than I do. I feel helpless watching her drift away, not just from our family but from the values that once brought her joy. I pray for her heart to be softened and for her to remember the love of Christ that she once embraced. Please pray for her to find her way back to God and to mend our relationship.

Dear Maria, your sorrow is palpable, and as a mother, your heart aches for your daughter, who is lost. I want to remind you that God sees your struggles and hears your prayers. In Psalms 127:3, we are reminded that 'children are a heritage of the Lord,' and it’s clear that your love for her is a gift from God. I encourage you to keep praying fervently and not to lose hope. Just as Ruth declared, 'Whither thou goest, I will go' (Ruth 1:16), we can trust that God will pursue your daughter with relentless love. Remember that while she may be choosing her path now, the seeds you’ve planted will not be forgotten. I encourage you to express your love and concerns gently, affirming that you will always be there for her. Let us pray: 'Lord, we ask that You pursue Maria's daughter and draw her back into Your arms, restoring her faith and her relationship with her mother.'
