A Mother's Fear: Navigating My Child's Cancer Diagnosis
My heart is heavy as I write this. Just last week, my sweet 9-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia. I never imagined that our family would face something so devastating. The news hit us like a tidal wave, and I feel completely overwhelmed. I find myself grappling with fear and uncertainty as I watch him struggle through treatments. I pray for healing, for strength, and for the right decisions to be made for his care. More than anything, I ask for prayer to help me maintain my faith and trust in God during this dark time. I want to cling to His promises, but I often feel lost in worry. Please pray for us.

Pastor Grace Williams
Women's Ministry Leader, Cornerstone Church
Dear Jessica, my heart aches for you and your son during this incredibly challenging time. I want to remind you that God sees you and your family in this valley. He promises to restore health and heal wounds, as stated in Jeremiah 30:17, 'For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds.' Your fears are valid, but know that God's love is greater. Remember, Isaiah 53:5 says, 'But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed.' As you walk this journey, cling to the hope found in Romans 8:28, which assures us that all things work together for good to them that love God. It's okay to seek support, and don't hesitate to lean on your church community for encouragement and prayer. Let us pray together now: Heavenly Father, I ask for Your divine healing over Jessica’s son. Grant them both peace and the strength to face each day with faith. Amen.
