A Mother’s Plea for Her Addicted Son's Salvation
My heart aches for my son, James. He has been living on the streets for months, battling addiction and feeling lost in a world that seems unforgiving. I remember the bright-eyed boy he once was, filled with dreams and hope. Now, he struggles daily just to survive. I've watched as his spirit has been crushed, and it breaks me to see him in such despair. I pray for his return to faith and for a transformation that only God can provide. Please pray for James to not only overcome his addiction but also to find Jesus, who can bring him the lasting salvation he desperately needs. I cry out for his heart to be softened and his eyes opened to the truth of God’s love.

Linda, I want you to know that your heartache does not go unnoticed by our Lord. The love you have for your son, James, reflects the very heart of God, who desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). It is a difficult path you are on, but remember that Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). Your prayers are powerful and essential in this battle. I encourage you to continue to lift James up in prayer, and perhaps seek opportunities to connect him with those who can support him, like local ministries that help the homeless and addicted. May he experience the truth of Romans 3:23, that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and realize that he too can return to the fold. I will pray alongside you that God reveals Himself to James and that he finds hope in Christ’s redeeming love. Let’s pray together for James’s breakthrough and restoration.
