A Mother's Prayer for Her Son's Healing Journey
I am Caroline, a mother who has watched her son, David, struggle with severe joint issues that impair his ability to play sports and engage in everyday activities. He is only 16 and is facing the challenges of waiting for a joint replacement surgery. As a mother, it pains me to see him in discomfort and unable to enjoy the activities that should be a part of his youth. We hold onto hope that the surgery will bring him relief, but the waiting feels unbearable. I am asking for prayers for his healing, for courage to face the upcoming surgery, and for our family to be united in faith during this difficult time. I want to see him thrive again, free from pain.

I want to assure you that God sees your family’s pain and hears your prayers. In James 5:15, we are told, 'And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.' As you wait for this surgery date, I pray that you find moments of peace and strength in your faith. Encourage David to keep his eyes on the Lord during this time. Remember, God is our ultimate healer, and He desires to restore not just David's body, but his spirit as well. Hold onto the promise found in Psalm 30:2, 'O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.' Let us pray for healing and for a spirit of hope and resilience to fill your family. Amen.
