A Neighbor's Search for Peace Amidst Pain
My neighbor, Priya, has been experiencing unbearable suffering lately. She lost her father unexpectedly, and her family is struggling to make ends meet. I have watched her walk through this darkness, and my heart aches for her. Being a Hindu, she doesn’t know the love of Christ, but she is open to conversations about faith. I’ve tried to help her materially, but I feel a burden to pray for her salvation, that she may find hope and comfort in Jesus during this tumultuous time. Please pray that God softens her heart and opens her eyes to the truth of His love and salvation.

Dear Anjali, thank you for your deep concern for Priya during such a painful time. It is a gift to show compassion towards those who are suffering, reflecting the heart of our Lord. Remember that God desires for all to come to Him and be saved, as we see in 1 Timothy 2:4. Your prayers and acts of kindness can be powerful tools in leading her to Christ. As you engage with her, share your own story of faith, and let her see the hope that Jesus brings in times of grief. We read in Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. Pray that Priya feels God's presence and begins to seek Him amidst her suffering. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, guard your heart as you reach out to her (Philippians 4:7). Let's pray together that Priya comes to know the comforting love of Jesus. Amen.
