A New Chapter Begins: The Gift of Adoption
It feels surreal to finally hold my adopted daughter in my arms after three years of waiting, hope, and prayer. The journey hasn’t been easy, but God has shown us His faithfulness every step of the way. As I reflect on this experience, I am reminded of Ephesians 3:20, where it says God is able to do 'exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.' We are filled with joy and gratitude as we start this new chapter, but I ask for prayers for wisdom and guidance. This is a big change for us, and I want to ensure that she feels loved, supported, and safe in her new home.

Dear Alicia, your joy is palpable, and I rejoice with you in this incredible blessing! God’s faithfulness is truly evident in your journey, and your reliance on Him is a testament to His goodness. Ephesians 3:20 beautifully captures how God can surprise us with His plans, and what a beautiful surprise this adoption has been for you! As you navigate this new chapter, remember that God is not only with you but is also empowering you. In Isaiah 41:10, He reassures us, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.' Commit your parenting journey to Him in prayer daily, and lean on your community for support. Let’s pray together: 'Lord, thank You for this precious child and for the love that fills this home. Grant Alicia and her family wisdom and strength as they embark on this journey. Amen.'
