A Senior's Fight Against Diabetes Fatigue
At 70 years old, my experience with diabetes has turned into a second full-time job. The complications that come with it are exhausting, and the fatigue seems never-ending. I often find myself sitting alone, feeling like a burden to my family as they care for me. Just last week, I was unable to attend my granddaughter's birthday party because my energy levels were too low. I felt so sad to miss such a beautiful family moment. I’m reaching out for prayer to find the strength to manage my condition better and to feel more like myself again. Please pray for my healing and for the joy to return to my life.

Dear Walter, thank you for sharing your heartfelt struggle with us. It takes great strength to voice these feelings, and I want to remind you that you are cherished by your family and by God. In times of weariness, we can draw from the promise of Romans 8:28, which assures us that 'all things work together for good to them that love God.' Your life is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and He cares deeply for you. As you face these health challenges, remember that 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God' (Isaiah 41:10). Lean on Him during these tough moments; He is your refuge and strength. I will pray that you experience God's healing touch and renewed energy. May the joy of the Lord fill your heart, bringing light to your days. Amen.
