A Teenager's Struggle to Share Faith at School

As a teenager, I face immense pressure at school. My friends often mock my faith, and it makes me hesitant to speak about Jesus. I believe deeply in His love and sacrifice, but I feel like an outsider because of my beliefs. I want to be a light in my school and share the hope I have in Christ, but I struggle with fear of rejection and ridicule. It’s hard to stand up for what I believe in when everyone else seems to follow the crowd. Please pray that God will give me strength and wisdom to share my faith in a way that is loving and respectful. I want to be an example of Christ’s love, even in a challenging environment.

Dear Emma, I admire your courage to stand firm in your faith amidst such challenges. Know that your feelings of fear and uncertainty are common among young believers, yet God has called you to be a light in your school. Jesus said, 'Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid' (Matthew 5:14). Let your faith shine brightly, even when it's difficult. Remember, the Holy Spirit is always with you to provide comfort and guidance (John 14:26). When you're faced with opposition, turn to God's Word for strength. 'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind' (2 Timothy 1:7). Continue to pray for opportunities to share your faith in a loving manner, and trust that God will work through you. I pray that you find the confidence to share the hope of Christ with your classmates and that many will be drawn to Him through your witness.
