A Touch of Grace in Grocery Shopping
I never expected to encounter such kindness at the grocery store last Saturday. After a long week of work, I went to buy some essentials, but when I reached the checkout, I realized I had left my wallet at home. Feeling humiliated, I started to put my items back when a lovely elderly gentleman behind me offered to pay for my groceries. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and a sense of community. It made me realize just how important it is to acknowledge the goodness around us, even during tough times. I’m praying for the ability to embody this spirit of generosity and gratitude in my own life and to always recognize God's hand at work in my daily experiences.
