A Wife's Cry for Her Husband’s Spiritual Awakening
I feel so alone in my marriage. My husband, Tom, seems to have lost not only his faith but also his connection with our family. It’s as if he is living in a different world where God doesn’t exist. I’ve tried talking to him about my feelings and encouraging him to come to church with me, but he always declines. I can’t help but feel the distance growing between us, and it scares me. I miss the spiritual bond we once had. Please pray that God opens his heart and mind to His truth and that our marriage can find healing and strength through Him.

Dear Linda, it’s truly heartbreaking to see a partner lose their way, especially when the bond of marriage is meant to be a covenant that reflects God’s love. In Hebrews 13:4, we are reminded of the sanctity of marriage, and it is a beautiful picture of love and faithfulness. Your heart for Tom is commendable, and it's important to continue to show him love and grace, even in his struggles. Ephesians 4:2 encourages us to 'with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.' Sometimes, it’s our quiet witness during difficult times that speaks volumes. Keep praying and perhaps find a way to express God's love through your actions rather than just words.
