A Wife's Faith Amidst Long-term Health Battles
My husband's battle with long COVID has been exhausting for both of us. He was once my rock, but now he struggles with everyday tasks and often feels defeated. The change in him has been hard to accept; I see his spirit dimming. I try to be his support, but I often feel overwhelmed with fear and sadness for both of us. I pray for his healing, for comfort, and for the strength to navigate this new reality together. I ask for prayers that God will give us courage and that healing will come in His perfect timing.

It’s heart-wrenching to witness our loved ones struggle, and it’s perfectly natural to feel overwhelmed. Remember, God sees your sacrifices and hears your prayers. In Isaiah 53:5, we are reminded that 'with his stripes we are healed.' Hold onto this promise as you both navigate this challenging path. As you support your husband, don’t forget to take care of your own spirit as well. The Lord is also your strength. In Psalm 46:1, we see that 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' Let us lift both of you in prayer: Lord, I pray for Rachel and her husband during this time of trial. Fill them with Your courage, envelop them in Your love, and guide them to the healing they seek. Amen.
