A Young Adult's Desire to Share Faith in College
I’m a 21-year-old college student, and I find myself in a place where faith isn’t the norm. Most conversations revolve around partying and secular ideologies. My heart aches for my friends who don’t know Jesus, and I want to be a voice for Him in our community. I often feel inadequate and worry about how to approach these discussions without sounding preachy or judgmental. I need prayer for boldness and creativity in how to integrate my faith into our daily conversations. I hope to see my friends come to know Christ and experience the love and hope that He offers. Please pray for my heart to remain steadfast, and for God to open doors for me to share my faith authentically.

Dear Ava, it’s inspiring to see your desire to make a difference in the lives of your friends at college. Remember, you are not alone in your journey; God goes with you. Philippians 4:7 assures us that 'the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.' Keep your heart anchored in His peace, even when you feel uncertain. Your openness and authenticity will resonate with those around you. Additionally, in Romans 10:9, we are reminded of the power of our confession and belief. Allow your genuine love for Christ to be visible in your actions and words. You might be surprised at how many of your peers are seeking the same hope you’ve found. I will be praying for opportunities for you to share your faith and for the Holy Spirit to give you the right words at the right time.
