A Young Man's Prayer for Renewed Strength
I'm 28 years old and have been battling diabetes for years. Lately, the complications have left me feeling drained, both physically and emotionally. I used to be so active and full of life, but now it feels like I’m just going through the motions. My friends have been supportive, but I don’t want to burden them with my struggles. I often find myself praying alone at night, asking God for the energy to get through the day ahead. I’m reaching out for prayer to help me find renewed strength and hope that I can overcome these challenges.

Dear David, thank you for being open and sharing your journey. It’s powerful to seek support, and God loves to hear your heart. In times of struggle, we can find comfort in knowing that 'the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart' (Psalms 34:18). Your feelings of exhaustion are valid, and I encourage you to cast your cares on Him, as He truly cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). God is in the business of renewing our spirits—'But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles' (Isaiah 40:31). I will pray that you find the strength and renewal you seek, and that hope fills your heart once again. Keep seeking the Lord; He will guide you through this. Amen.
