A Young Woman Searching for Connection and Belonging
Dear Lord, I’m a 27-year-old woman who has recently moved to a new city for work. Leaving behind family and friends has left me feeling lonely and disconnected. I miss the fellowship I had back home and I yearn for meaningful relationships that center around faith. I have tried attending various churches but struggle to find a place where I feel welcomed. I ask for Your divine intervention, Lord, to guide me to a community that will embrace me and help me grow in my relationship with You. Please grant me the courage to reach out and connect with others.

Dear Sophia, your struggle is not uncommon, and I commend you for seeking God's guidance in this new chapter of your life. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has a plan for you, a plan filled with hope and purpose. As you search for connections, take heart in knowing that He has already prepared a place for you among His people. It might take some time and effort, but do not be discouraged. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us to consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together. I encourage you to try different fellowship groups and volunteer opportunities to build relationships. God will lead you to those who will walk alongside you in faith. I am praying for God to place the right people in your path who will embrace you and help you grow.
