A Young Woman's Dilemma: Job Move Threatens Stability
I’m Anna, a young graphic designer, and I recently found out that my company is relocating to another state. While I know this could be a great opportunity for my career, I am deeply worried about the impact it will have on my life. I have just started to establish myself here, and the thought of moving feels overwhelming. My friends and support system are here, and I fear losing that connection. I don’t want to let go of what I’ve worked so hard to build. Please pray for me to find clarity in this situation and for the courage to make the right decision, whether that means staying or going.

Dear Anna, I commend you for seeking God in this pivotal moment in your life. Your feelings of uncertainty are understandable, especially as you consider the implications of relocating. Remember that God has a plan for you, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Trust in His plans, even when they are not clear. As you consider your options, pray for wisdom and guidance, as encouraged in James 1:5: 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' Put God first in your decision-making process (Matthew 6:33) and trust that He will lead you to the right choice, whether that means moving forward with the opportunity or staying where you are. I will be praying for clarity and courage for you as you navigate this decision. Amen.
