A Young Woman's Journey to Evangelize Her Circle
Hi, I’m Ava, a 22-year-old graduate student. I’ve been feeling a calling to reach out to my friends about Jesus, especially those who seem lost and are searching for meaning. I see them posting about their struggles and heartaches, and it breaks my heart. I want to tell them about the love and salvation found in Christ but fear rejection and misunderstanding. I know that the gospel is powerful and can change lives, as it has mine, but I feel inadequate. I remember the promise in Romans 10:13 that 'whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' I pray for courage to share my faith without compromising my friendships. Please pray for me to find the right words and wisdom to navigate these conversations gracefully. Thank you!

Dear Ava, it’s inspiring to hear about your desire to share the gospel with your friends. Your heart to reach out is a testament to the work the Holy Spirit is doing in you. You are right to reflect on Romans 10:13, which assures us of God’s openness to all who seek Him. Don’t be discouraged by feelings of inadequacy; remember that Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:8 that our salvation is a gift, and it’s through faith that we stand. Sharing your faith is not about being perfect; it’s about being authentic and letting your experiences illuminate God’s grace in your life. Approach your friends with love and compassion, sharing your story of how Christ has transformed you. Look for opportunities to engage them in conversations that reflect His love. As you step out in faith, rely on God’s strength; He will guide your words. Pray for the right moments, and trust that the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts. Let’s pray for your courage and for those whom you wish to reach. Amen.
