A Young Woman's Search for Purpose and Faith
As I approach my twenties, I find myself questioning everything I once held dear. I was raised in a Christian home, but now I’m feeling a strong disconnect from the faith I grew up with. I’m exploring new ideas and philosophies and struggling to find my own identity apart from my upbringing. I want to make choices that reflect who I am now, but I fear losing my faith entirely. I pray for clarity and direction, asking for God to show me how He fits into my life moving forward. Please pray that I can navigate this journey without losing my connection to Him.

Dear Sophia, your journey of self-discovery is beautiful, though it can feel overwhelming. It’s completely normal to want to explore your identity, especially during this transitional time in your life. Remember that Jesus invites us in John 10:10 to live life to the fullest; this includes exploring who God created you to be. As you seek clarity, lean into prayer and Scripture, which can ground you in truth. The Lord assures us in Ephesians 2:8 that we are saved by grace through faith. This relationship doesn’t depend on your performance but on His love for you. I encourage you to seek counsel from trusted mentors and continue to engage with your faith community, as this can provide support as you explore. I will pray that God reveals Himself to you in new ways and that your faith remains a vibrant part of your identity.
Amen.
