Acknowledging God’s Goodness After the Storm

Dear friends, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to God after our family experienced the terrifying tornado that recently struck our community. While it caused significant destruction and heartbreak for many, including our dear friends who lost their home, my family emerged safely. We are so thankful for God’s protection and presence during that time of uncertainty. It is hard to see our friends in pain, and we desire to help them rebuild as they navigate this challenging experience. Please pray for guidance and opportunities to lend a helping hand and that we can be a source of encouragement for them. Thank you for your support!

Dear Maria, your expression of gratitude in the face of such a traumatic event is truly uplifting. It is clear that God has placed His protective hand over your family, and your desire to assist your neighbors reflects the heart of Christ within you. As we gather to support those in need, remember the words in Ephesians 5:20, 'Giving thanks always for all things unto God.' Even in challenging times, we are called to acknowledge God’s goodness. Your willingness to help your friends who are suffering shows a profound understanding of the body of Christ, and I encourage you to reach out with love and support. We know from Psalms 103:1 that we should bless the Lord with all our soul, and this includes being His hands and feet to those in distress. I pray that God opens doors for you to provide encouragement and practical assistance. May He bless you and your family abundantly as you seek to shine His light in the lives of those around you.
