Adjusting to Life as a Single Parent After Loss
Hello, I’m Sarah, and I’m writing to ask for prayers after my husband’s sudden passing due to a medical emergency last month. We were married for 8 years, and I have two small children who are 5 and 2. Since his death, I’ve been struggling to manage everything alone. I feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities of parenting while dealing with my own grief. My heart aches for my children who miss their dad, and I often find myself questioning how to be strong for them. I’m fearful about the future and how I will provide for them emotionally and financially. Remember, God sees your struggles, and in Psalms 34:18, it says, 'The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.'
