An Artist's Fear of Sharing My Work
As an artist, sharing my work has always been a source of anxiety for me. I constantly question the value of my creations and fear that they might not be appreciated. There’s a voice in my head that tells me I will be judged, and that fear keeps me from showcasing my art. I feel called to express my creativity, yet every time I think about exhibiting my work, I am paralyzed by the fear of failure. I long to overcome this fear and trust that my talents come from God. I ask for prayers that I may have the courage to share my art with the world and embrace the gifts God has given me.

Dear Emily, it takes a lot of courage to put your heart into your art and to share it with others. The fear of judgment and the apprehension of failure can often be daunting. Remember, God has created you with unique gifts and talents — and it is through expressing them that you honor Him. As stated in Romans 8:15, we have not been given a spirit of fear, but one of power and love. It's in the act of sharing your work that you embrace your identity as an artist and reflect God’s creativity. Don’t let fear silence your voice; instead, trust in His purpose for your art. Let’s pray for the courage and peace you need to step into the light and share your gifts with the world. May you feel encouraged to express the beauty God has placed inside you.
