Anxiety about My Spiritual Future
As a mother, my greatest concern is for my children's spiritual well-being. Yet, I find myself gripped by fear that my own salvation is uncertain, which only heightens my anxiety about theirs. I often lie awake thinking about the consequences of my imperfections and failures as a parent and believer. What if I lead them astray? What if I don’t have what it takes to guide them toward Jesus? I feel like every misstep is a mark against me and my family. There is a persistent worry that I may not see them in heaven one day, and that thought is unbearable. I am pleading for prayer, that I may find peace in God's grace and assurance for my family’s spiritual journey.

Dear Monica, your love for your children and your concern for their spiritual journey speak volumes about your heart as a mother. It’s normal to fear for our loved ones, but we must remember that God’s grace is abundant. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' God has a plan for both you and your children, and He is faithful to guide you. Philippians 4:7 tells us that the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Embrace that promise and trust that as you seek Him, He will lead your family closer to Him. Your imperfections do not define your worth as a parent; rather, your reliance on God does. Let’s pray together that you will find rest in His grace and confidence in His ability to shepherd your children’s hearts.
