Asking for Financial Wisdom in Missionary Work
I am Michael, a 35-year-old missionary who has been serving in Eastern Europe. Recently, I've been struggling due to a sudden drop in donations. I am feeling the pressure as I have responsibilities towards my family back home and the local community here that looks up to me for support. I'm seeking prayers for financial wisdom and guidance on how to navigate this uncertain situation, and that God gives me clarity on the steps to take. I believe in His promise of provision, but I also need discernment in how to manage what I have left effectively.

Dear Michael, thank you for reaching out. It's never easy to face financial uncertainty, especially when you carry responsibilities for both your family and the community you serve. I want to encourage you with the words of James 1:5, which reminds us that 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not.' God is aware of your situation and desires to grant you wisdom. Additionally, remember that 'The Lord is thy shepherd; I shall not want' (Psalms 23:1). This is a season to lean into God’s provision and seek counsel from others who have navigated similar paths. Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift Michael up to You. Grant him wisdom and creative solutions during this challenging time. Amen.
