Balancing Exhaustion and Family Connections
My name is Angela, and I am a 28-year-old nurse working night shifts. My job is fulfilling, but it leaves me feeling drained and distant from my family. I often miss out on gatherings and feel guilty for not being there for my siblings and parents. Each night I work, I feel the emotional toll of being away. I am reaching out for prayers to help me find ways to connect with my family despite my schedule. I want them to feel my love, even when I can’t be there in person. Please pray for strength, clarity, and passion in my life as I work to balance my responsibilities.

Dear Angela, thank you for sharing your heart. It’s tough to juggle a demanding job while maintaining family ties, and it's clear how much you care for yours. Remember, Philippians 4:13 tells us that 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Lean on Him for the strength you need to get through these challenging nights. Also, don’t forget the importance of communication; even a quick message can bridge the gap. As you strive to balance your commitments, trust in Colossians 3:23 that whatever you do, do it heartily, knowing you are serving the Lord. Your heart for your family will shine through, and I will pray for your energy and the ability to cherish every moment you do have with them.
