Battling Doubts in My Spiritual Journey
I'm Kevin, and I’m reaching out for prayer because I’m struggling with doubts about my faith. As a gay man, I often feel like I am not enough for God. I’ve had moments of deep connection in worship, but then those waves of doubt crash over me, leaving me questioning if I genuinely belong in God’s family. I want to grow and deepen my relationship with Him, but these feelings of inadequacy are a constant battle. I ask for prayers that God would help me overcome my doubts and encourage my spirit to trust in His love and grace.

Dear Kevin, thank you for your honesty in sharing your struggles. Doubt can be a difficult mountain to climb, but know that you are not alone in this journey. The Lord invites us to bring our doubts to Him. In Hebrews 11:1, we are reminded that "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It’s okay to wrestle with your beliefs; even the strongest believers have moments of uncertainty. I encourage you to lean on the promises of God, as found in Proverbs 3:6: "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Your journey is valid, and God desires to meet you in your struggles. Remember, Romans 8:38 assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Hold onto this truth as you navigate these challenges. I will be praying for you, that God strengthens your faith and helps you feel His unending love.
