Battling Spiritual Exhaustion After a Long Season

Dear God, I feel like I have been under constant spiritual attack for months now. Every day feels like a fight, and I am utterly exhausted. I’ve tried to maintain my faith, praying and reading the Scriptures, but it feels like the darkness just keeps pressing in. I’ve experienced doubts about my worthiness and my prayers feel like they hit the ceiling. I long for clarity and strength, but instead, I feel lost and weary. I am asking for prayer that I may find renewed energy and hope in my relationship with You, and that the spiritual attacks will cease. Please help me to trust in Your promises once more.

Dear Liam, I hear your heart's cry, and I want to reassure you that you are not alone in this struggle. Spiritual exhaustion can often feel overwhelming, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' God sees your efforts and your weariness, and He desires to lift you up. When doubt creeps in, turn to Romans 10:17, which reminds us, 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' Fill your mind with His Word. Additionally, James 1:5 encourages us, 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' Ask the Lord for the wisdom to discern the attacks and the strength to resist them. I pray that you find a renewed sense of hope and strength in His presence. May you feel His peace surrounding you, and may you be fortified in your faith. Amen.
