Bearing Witness in a Tech-Savvy Workplace
I'm a 28-year-old software developer working in a predominantly secular tech environment. Every day, I feel a tug on my heart to share my faith, but I struggle with fear and doubt. My colleagues often talk about their worldviews, and I find it difficult to engage meaningfully about spirituality without feeling like an outsider. I want to be a light in this dark place, but I worry about how I’ll be received and if my words will matter. I’m asking for prayer that I might find courage to speak about my faith and live it out authentically in front of my peers. Please pray that God gives me the right words and opportunities to share His love with those around me.

Dear Eli, I want to encourage you as you navigate your workplace. It’s clear you have a heart for witnessing, and God honors that desire. Remember, Jesus said in John 10:10, 'I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.' You have the abundant life within you to share! Also, Romans 10:9 reminds us, 'That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.' This is the truth you carry, and it’s powerful. Approach your colleagues with love and humility, seeking common ground in conversations. You might be surprised how open people can be when they feel respected. Lastly, as you share your faith, hold on to the promise of Luke 15:7, 'I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth.' Your efforts can lead to great joy in God’s kingdom. I will be praying for you, that the Holy Spirit guides you in every conversation and strengthens your resolve. God bless you as you step out in faith.
