Building Confidence in Teenage Work Experience
Heavenly Father, I seek Your guidance as my son, Ethan, embarks on his first job this summer. At 17, he's been excited yet anxious, fearing he won't meet expectations. He's been struggling to understand the responsibilities of this role while balancing his other commitments. I pray that he finds comfort in Your presence and gains the confidence to communicate openly with his employer. Help him see the value of hard work and the importance of learning through mistakes. Lord, I also pray that he encounters teammates who encourage him and foster his growth. Let this experience serve as a foundation for his future. Thank You for walking this journey with us. Amen.

Dear Mark, thank you for sharing Ethan's journey with me. It’s commendable that he is taking on this responsibility at such a young age. As he faces these new challenges, it's crucial for him to understand that God is with him every step of the way. Encourage him to reflect on Proverbs 10:22: 'The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.' This reminds us that when we work diligently, God blesses our efforts. Furthermore, it’s essential for him to learn the value of little things, as stated in Luke 16:10: 'He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.' I will be praying for Ethan’s growth and for you as a father, as you support him through this phase. May he flourish in his job and take valuable lessons from this experience. Let’s pray: Lord, we uplift Ethan to You. Grant him courage and wisdom as he navigates this new chapter. Amen.
