Burdened by Student Debt and Uncertainty
I'm Jessica, a recent college graduate, and I’m currently feeling overwhelmed by student loans. I followed what I believed was God’s calling to pursue higher education, but now I’m faced with heavy debt and a job market that feels unforgiving. Despite my hard work, my financial obligations feel like an anchor pulling me down. I’m really struggling to trust that God will provide for my needs. I would deeply appreciate prayer for relief from this burden and for wisdom in managing my finances as I attempt to find stable employment.

Dear Jessica, I can sense the weight of your worries, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. Many young adults face the heavy burden of student debt, and it can feel suffocating at times. However, I want to encourage you with the truth found in Matthew 6:33: 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' Trust that as you prioritize seeking God, He will provide for your needs. Psalm 37:25 beautifully states, 'I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.' Hold on to this promise. Furthermore, God has gifted you with the ability to navigate this financial challenge wisely, as emphasized in Deuteronomy 8:18: 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' I will be praying for financial relief and divine guidance as you move forward.
