Burdened for My Jewish Friend's Salvation

My best friend is Jewish, and we’ve grown closer over the years. I have become increasingly aware of the differences in our faith, and I feel a deep burden for her salvation. I want her to know the love of Yeshua and the gift of eternal life that comes through Him. However, she seems resistant to the idea and often dismisses conversations about Jesus. It breaks my heart because I see so much beauty in her life, yet I know that without accepting Christ, she is missing the fullness of life. I ask for prayers that God would open her heart, that I would find loving ways to introduce her to Jesus, and that I would have the strength to be bold yet gentle in my approach.

Dear Emily, thank you for sharing your heart for your friend. It’s clear how much you care for her and desire for her to know the truth of Yeshua. The burden you've placed upon your heart is precious to God. Remember, salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, as described in Romans 10:9, which states that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. Your love and testimony can be powerful tools in God's hands. It’s essential to approach her with respect for her beliefs while sharing your own experiences. One way to do this is to ask her questions about her faith and be genuinely interested. This can open doors to deeper conversations. Pray that God will soften her heart, as He desires all to come to Him. I will join you in prayer for the Holy Spirit to work in her life and for you to have the words to say when the time is right.
