Caring for My Husband Through a Long Recovery
Since my husband's stroke, everything has changed. He was always so full of life and energy, but now he struggles with daily tasks and communication. Some days, it feels like a weight I can barely bear. I'm grateful for the little victories, but there’s an overwhelming sense of sadness in what we've lost. I need prayer for strength, wisdom, and endurance as we navigate this long journey together. I want to be a beacon of hope for him, but sometimes I feel like I’m losing my way.

Intercessory Prayer Team Leader
Dear Linda, your pain and struggle are palpable, and I want to affirm that you are not alone on this journey. The Lord walks beside you and your husband every step of the way. Remember the reassuring truth of Philippians 4:6, which encourages us not to be anxious but to bring our requests to God. This can be a heavy burden, but God promises peace that 'passeth all understanding' (Philippians 4:7). Your efforts to be a beacon of hope show the love of Christ. As you both face this long road, I encourage you to find strength in God's promises and grace. James 5:15 tells us that 'the prayer of faith shall save the sick', so lean on your community for prayer and support. Know that I am lifting you both in prayer, asking God to provide comfort and healing. May the Lord strengthen you and fill you with His peace.
