Celebrating the Gift of Family After Years Apart

🙏563 people praying
·Maria·September 23, 2024

It has been ten years since I last saw my family, and finally, we are coming together for a reunion! I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for this opportunity. Each year has felt like a reminder of our absence from each other. I long for the laughter and warmth that only family can provide. However, I’m also carrying some anxiety about how much we have changed and how to reconnect. I pray that our time together will be filled with love, acceptance, and healing. Please pray that old wounds can be mended and that we can move forward together as a family.

Dear Maria, what a joy to hear that you will be reuniting with your family after so long! This is a divine appointment and a precious gift from God. As you prepare for this reunion, I encourage you to remember the words of Psalm 34:3, which says, 'O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.' This is your opportunity to exalt the Lord for bringing your family back together. While it’s natural to feel anxiety about the changes in your relationships, remember that God is the author of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). He desires for you to experience joy and healing as you reconnect. I recommend taking a moment to express gratitude and share your feelings during the reunion. Open communication can pave the way for reconciliation and deeper connections. I will be praying for your hearts to be open and for the spirit of love to fill your gathering. May this reunion be a new beginning for you all. Amen.
