Coping with Rejection from Family and Friends
Dear Lord, I am struggling with feelings of rejection from my family and friends after coming out as gay. It breaks my heart that those who I thought would support me turned away. I feel so alone and unwanted. Please help me to cope with this pain and fill my heart with Your love and acceptance. I pray for healing in my relationships and for strength to forgive those who have hurt me. I want to move forward in my faith and trust that You have a plan for me, even in this difficult season. Thank you for always being my refuge.

Dear Alex, I am so sorry to hear about your feelings of rejection. It’s painful when those we love don’t understand our true selves. Remember that God’s love is a constant in our lives, as expressed in 1 John 4:18, which states that perfect love casteth out fear. Healing takes time, and it's okay to grieve those relationships. Seek strength from God, as Philippians 4:13 assures us, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Forgiveness is a powerful step, and it can free you from the weight of hurt. Let’s pray together: Lord, I ask that You wrap Alex in Your unconditional love and help him find strength and healing during this painful time. Amen.
