Desiring a Deeper Connection with God's Plan
My name is Carlos, and I’m 50 years old. I’ve had a good career and a loving family, but lately, I’ve been feeling a void. I find myself wondering if I am truly living out God’s purpose for my life. I’ve been involved in my church, but I still feel like something is missing. I desire a deeper connection with God's plan, yet I often struggle to discern what that is. I’m praying for clarity and for God to reveal the path He wants me to take. Please pray that I can find fulfillment in my faith and better understand my role in God’s kingdom.

Dear Carlos, thank you for sharing your heartfelt concerns. It’s wonderful to hear about your dedication to your career and family, but I understand how the feeling of emptiness can creep in even amid blessings. God has a unique plan for each of us, and it’s okay to seek deeper understanding. In 2 Corinthians 5:7, we are reminded that 'For we walk by faith, not by sight.' This faith journey often requires patience as we seek clarity. God assures us that He knows the plans He has for us, as expressed in Jeremiah 29:11: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Continue to pray, seek His Word, and engage in community. Your active pursuit shows your heart. Let’s pray together: Lord, I lift Carlos to You. Grant him clarity and fulfillment in his faith journey. Help him to discern Your plans and embrace the purpose You have for his life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
