Desiring Change for Those in Bondage
My name is Linda, a 50-year-old woman who has seen firsthand the struggles of addiction within my community. I recently started leading a recovery group and find myself burdened by the heaviness of the issues we face, including the stigma attached to addiction. I pray that we can break those chains and that those who’ve been living in darkness will step into the light of God's transformation. I ask for prayer for the group members to have soft hearts and for their minds to be renewed. Please pray for God to open doors for us to share His love and grace effectively. I trust that He has a purpose for each of us and that healing is possible through Him.

Dear Linda, it’s inspiring to see your passion for helping those in need. You are echoing the heart of Christ when you seek transformation for those in bondage. Remember the promise in Ezekiel 18:23, where God expresses His desire for all to turn from their ways and live. This illustrates His deep love and longing for redemption. Your role in leading your recovery group is vital, and as you rely on the Holy Spirit, He will guide your efforts. Let’s also keep in mind Luke 15:7, which tells us that there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Each small step is significant in God’s eyes. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, bless Linda and her group with healing and transformation. May they see Your glory manifest in their lives. Amen.
