Desiring Connection Through Faith in Our Work
I oversee a crew of agricultural workers who come from diverse backgrounds. Many of them have faced great hardships and have their own beliefs. I feel a calling to connect with them spiritually, but I’m unsure how to approach such different perspectives without causing offense. I have a heart to share Christ with them because I believe that He can change lives. However, I worry that my attempts may fall flat or may be unwelcome. I ask for prayers for courage to share my faith and for wisdom to know how to communicate effectively without crossing boundaries. I want to be a light for them.

Women's Ministry Leader, Cornerstone Church
Dear Anita, your desire to connect with your crew on a spiritual level is truly commendable. It's important to remember that Jesus was also met with varied beliefs and backgrounds, yet He engaged with people compassionately and respectfully. The promise in Romans 3:23 reminds us of our shared need for a Savior, which can be a great starting point for connection. As you approach your crew, seek to understand their stories and beliefs first; this will create trust and open doors for genuine conversations. Pray for divine opportunities to share your testimony, as personal stories often resonate deeply. In 2 Peter 3:9, we see that God desires for everyone to come to repentance, which shows us His heart for all people. Let that be your motivation as you reach out. I will pray for your efforts and for the hearts of your crew to be open to the message of Christ. Lord, grant Anita the courage and wisdom to be Your light in her workplace.
