Desiring My Children to Know Yeshua
As a parent, my greatest wish is for my children to know and love Jesus. We celebrate our Jewish traditions, but I want them to understand the significance of Yeshua in their lives. I sometimes struggle with how to model faith in a way that resonates with them, especially as they grow older and question everything. I fear that if I don't present Jesus in a way that connects with their hearts, they might drift away from their faith. My prayer is for wisdom on how to teach them about Yeshua in a way that honors our heritage while also embracing His love and grace. I ask for prayers that we can have meaningful conversations about faith and that God would reveal Himself to them in powerful ways.

Dear Rachel, your heart for your children is beautiful, and it’s evident that you desire for them to know the love of Christ deeply. As a parent, it’s important to remember that we plant the seeds of faith, but it is God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). Letting your children see your faith in action can be one of the most powerful examples. Children learn through our actions and words. Share stories about Yeshua that highlight His love, grace, and the transformation He brings. Engage them in discussions that allow them to ask questions. Teach them that Jesus fulfills the promises made in the Old Testament, emphasizing that God desires a relationship with them (John 3:16). Pray that God would prepare their hearts to receive His truth, and trust that He is faithful to fulfill His promises. I will join you in prayer for your family, that God would guide your conversations and draw your children close to Him.
