Desiring Salvation for My Neighbor and Her Family

I have been trying to reach out to my neighbor, who lives in our inner-city area. She is a single mother struggling to make ends meet, and I see her battling loneliness and despair. I feel compelled to share the love of Christ with her but often struggle with how to approach the conversation. I pray that God will grant me the right words and timing. It breaks my heart to see her and her children living without hope. I know that Jesus is the answer to every problem, and I earnestly ask for prayers that she and her children would come to know Him. I believe that with faith and love, they can be changed forever. Thank you for standing with me in prayer.

Senior Pastor, Bethel Church

Dear Sofia, it’s wonderful to see your compassion for your neighbor and her family. You are demonstrating Christ’s love in action! As you seek to share the Gospel with her, remember that God's timing is perfect. John 14:6 reminds us, 'Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' Trust that as you share your faith, the Holy Spirit will guide your words. It's also important to show genuine care in practical ways—helping her with daily struggles can open doors for deeper conversations about faith. Continue to pray fervently, as James 5:16 tells us, 'The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.' I will be praying alongside you for her and her children, asking God to work in their hearts. Lord, give Sofia the boldness to share Your love and bring transformation to her neighbor's life.
