Desiring Salvation for My Skeptical Colleague
As I work alongside Kevin, I often feel a tug at my heart for him. He is intelligent and has a skeptical view of faith, often questioning the very existence of God. I admire his curiosity but feel sad that he does not yet know the healing power of Jesus in his life. I want to share my testimony with him, but I’m unsure of how he will react. I pray that God would prepare his heart to hear the truth and that he may see the beauty of faith through my actions and words. I ask for prayers that he may be open to believing and accepting Jesus into his life, for I know that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

Dear Elijah, your concern for Kevin reflects the heart of Christ, who seeks the lost. It's wonderful that you want to share your testimony with him. Remember, faith often begins with questions, and as Jesus says in Matthew 7:7, 'Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find.' Encourage him to ask his questions; this could lead to deeper conversations about faith. Emphasize that salvation is a gift from God, not earned (Ephesians 2:9), and remind him of the truth in John 3:16—God loves him deeply and longs for him to know that love. Keep being a compassionate friend, and let your life reflect Christ’s love. Let’s pray: "Lord, we ask You to touch Kevin’s heart, guiding him toward Your truth and grace. Amen."
