Desiring to Impact Lives Through Faith
As a graduate student in my mid-twenties, I have spent years immersed in academic studies, often feeling like my faith takes a backseat. Recently, God has placed a strong desire in my heart to actively engage with my fellow students about my faith and the hope I find in Jesus. However, I struggle with how to approach conversations without seeming pushy or judgmental. My heart aches for those around me who are lost and searching for purpose. I request prayers for wisdom and discernment in my outreach efforts. I want to reflect Christ’s love and authenticity, drawing others to Him. Please pray that God opens doors for dialogue and gives me the courage to step through them when they appear. I long to share the peace and joy Jesus has given me, and I trust that He will guide me in doing so.

Dear Sarah, thank you for your honest and passionate request. It is evident that your heart beats in tune with the love of Christ, and your desire to share that love is commendable. Remember that God has called you to be His ambassador in your academic environment. In Ephesians 2:8, we are reminded, 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.' This gift is not just for you but for all those around you, and you have a unique role in sharing it. Approach your conversations with humility and grace, knowing that John 10:10 reassures us, 'I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.' Your authentic approach will resonate with those longing for truth. Pray earnestly for opportunities, and trust that the Holy Spirit will guide your interactions. Remember that every small seed you plant has the potential to grow into something beautiful in God’s timing. I will be praying for your journey of faith and the souls that will be touched. Amen.
