Desiring to Know My True Purpose
I’m a 28-year-old woman who has always felt like I’m searching for something more in my life, but I don't know what that is. I’ve tried various activities and jobs, hoping to find where I fit in God's big picture, but nothing feels quite right. This uncertainty weighs heavy on my heart. I long to know what God has planned for me and how I can best serve Him. I want to be an instrument of His love and grace, but I feel lost. Please pray that I would be open to His leading and attentive to the opportunities He places before me. I believe He has a special purpose for me, but I need help clarifying that and stepping into it.

Dear Sophia, thank you for sharing your heartfelt request. It’s wonderful that you have the desire to find your true purpose. As you are seeking, remember that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you, as noted in Philippians 1:6. This journey of discovery can often involve patience and faith, but know that through prayer and scripture, God will guide you. Psalm 46:10 encourages us to be still and know that He is God, allowing Him to reveal His will in His time. Spend time in His presence, and be open to the ways He might be speaking to you, whether through His word or through others. Trust that He has a plan for you, and in Romans 10:17, we are reminded that faith comes by hearing, so engage deeply with His voice. I pray that you find the clarity and peace you seek as you navigate this journey with God. May He reveal your purpose to you in ways that you can understand.
