Desiring to Share My Faith Amidst Skepticism
Hi, I’m Priya, a 30-year-old project manager in an IT firm. Most of my coworkers are skeptical about religion, and I often feel like an outsider because of my beliefs. I was raised in a Christian home, but working in this environment has challenged my faith. I want to talk about my relationship with God, but I fear being seen as naive or overly religious. I pray for wisdom to approach these conversations without alienating others and for the strength to remain firm in my faith amidst skepticism. Please pray for me to find common ground with my colleagues.

Dear Priya, it’s wonderful to see your commitment to share the love of Christ in a challenging environment. Many believers have faced skepticism, and it can be daunting. Remember, Jesus faced similar challenges during His ministry. In John 14:6, He states, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’ This is the truth you carry; be assured that it holds power. Romans 6:23 reminds us of the gift of salvation, and sharing this message is vital. It’s important to approach your colleagues with love and respect, which can often soften skepticism. Ephesians 2:8 encourages us that our faith is a gift, not a tool for judgment. Seek opportunities to listen and understand their viewpoints, creating a dialogue where faith can be shared organically. I’ll pray for you to find that balance and to nurture those connections with grace. Amen.
