Desiring to Share My Faith with a Close Friend
My childhood friend, Omar, is someone I deeply care about. He has grown up in a Muslim family and has always practiced his faith diligently. Recently, he has begun to question some of his beliefs, and I see this as an opportunity to share the Gospel. However, I am filled with doubt about whether my words will make a difference. I want to express to him the beauty of knowing Jesus and the hope that comes with faith in Him. I pray for the right words to share, for Omar's heart to be touched, and for the Holy Spirit to work in his life. Please pray that our friendship can become a platform for discussing these important spiritual matters.

Dear Ali, it’s heartwarming to hear about your friendship with Omar and your desire to share the Gospel. Friendships built on trust can be wonderful avenues for discussing faith. As you engage with him, remember that your authenticity and love will speak volumes, as stated in John 13:35, where Jesus told us that all will know we are His disciples if we love one another. Allow your conversations to be infused with grace and patience. In Romans 10:9, we see the simplicity of the Gospel message: confessing with our mouth and believing in our heart leads to salvation. Keep praying for Omar, as God desires for everyone to come to Him (2 Peter 3:9). I will pray with you for your conversations to be filled with opportunities to speak about Christ, and for Omar's heart to be open to His love and truth.
